Our village church has many ways you can join us for services, social functions or courses.

This page will in time describe all the regular activities. It has only a few of these described at the moment. More will be added over time to complete the picture. Also look at our events and services calender this will show all the specific dates.

Junior Church

Junior Church, it is offered to any young children at many of the 11 am services.  It is a lesson and craft activity held in the vicar's vestry.

Flood lighting the church

Anyone can ask for the church to be floodlit (for a donation of £5) to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just because you would like to see it floodlit. Please contact one of the church wardens if you would like to arrange for the lights to be on (see contacts).

Requesting a Special Payer

If you want a special prayers for people in trouble there is a box just inside Ticehurst church door for written requests for these.

Garden of Remembrance, regular garden maintenance

The Garden of Remembrance is attached to the church yard. We have a regular get together to maintain the garden. So people are regular others joins us just once in a while or as a one off, all are welcome.

This is on the 1st Saturday of the month at 2pm.

Courses

There are many courses that are run that can be attended through the year such as Alpha and various Lent courses. More here.

Saint Mary's & Saint Augustine's Fellowship

We meet once a month. Typically we listen to a talk and then have tea & cake. All are welcome, more information about St Mary' & St Augustine's Fellowship here.

Choir

Ticehurst Church choir practice from 6:30pm until 7:30pm every Friday evening. For more information, picture and stories about our choir see the choir page.

Bell Ringing

We practice from 6:45pm until 7:45pm every Monday evening. If anyone is interested in becoming a bell ringer at Ticehurst Church please contact Andrew Cook on 01580 200 594.
