Family Research History

St Mary’s Church welcomes those who have connections with Ticehurst and wish to research their ancestry; however it has long been the practice to place the parish Baptism, Marriage and Burial Registers in the hands of the East Sussex Records Office.  (see www.eastsussex.gov.uk) 
 
The main records that can be consulted at our churches are;

• The List of Memorials and Identified Graves in St Mary’ Church and Churchyard. 
  
  
• The names recorded on the world war memorials.
